Good Career and Job Forums
The big question today is how to find a good job. That question can be approached in a number of ways with a number of really good answers, so it’s hard to just say out of hand what’s best.
Ideally, when you’re young and full of energy still you can try a bunch of gigs out. DO a little of this some of that, and so one. That’s when you get your real world job advice and coaching through some good old fashioned on the job training. But, that’s not enough anymore.
Increasingly, were working longer in jobs that may not have a bright and bold future for us. Or, we get stuck in a place that just isn’t the best for us and we look back and wonder what happened, thinking to ourselves “How’d I get here?” It reminds me of a Talking Heads song.
Pondering these questions, with the “Once in a Lifetime” song floating through my head, I ran across the forum for the website How to Become. The site is essentially a web site to help people find training courses to help put them on the right path for their future. What I liked best is that they have a fantastic Career and Job Forums that I immediately signed myself up for and started poking around in.
It couldn’t hurt, right? Why not try to better myself and my situation and improve my career.
In addition to the forum, the site has a great article bank for the career seeker, but I really recommend spending the time in the forum as there are a surprising number of people in the same modality of life in looking to make that change.
Definitely spend some time and check it out.
